The Canada-Angola Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) was the original idea of the Honourable Filipe Martins, the Angolan roving Ambassador who had inaugurated the Embassy in Canada in October 1997.
Inspired by the US-Angola Chamber of Commerce, Mr. André Panzo (The First Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of Angola in Canada), convened a meeting between himself, Mr. Sebastiao N’Singi (a native of Angola, a Canadian-trained Lawyer, founder and former President of the Angolan community of Ontario (ACO) ); Simao Kalilo (Economist, A native of Angola, currently employed by the Embassy of Angola in Canada) with a view to legally establishing the Chamber of commerce with the following main objectives:
